Message from the Warden

First off, I'm not an academic film scholar. Hell, I hate snooze inducing essays on gender identity in film noir or some other intellectual hogwash that over thinks a film production for a grade or publishing credit. I like the honest film criticism found at your local dive bar. Where the merits of Die Hard 3 are based on Die Hard 1 & 2 and not Citizen Kane. You know what I'm talking about or you wouldn't be reading this.

I'm not much of a writer either. I've written screenplays that were made into films and a paper in college on feminist artist Cindy Sherman that brought home an A minus. That's the highlights of my literary career. Don't go expecting any great prose and you won't be disappointed.
